Vacuum Pump Protocol

1. Procedure

1. Ensure all valves are in neutral position or closed.
   • Includes pump t-valve, vacuum desiccator t-valve, and vacuum oven valves
2. Turn on pump.
3. Direct the vacuum by turning the pump t-valve to the PUMP direction.
4. Open the vacuum valve of the vacuum over/vacuum desiccator.
5. Wait at the pump until the built in vacuum pump gauge reads solid green.
6. Close vacuum valve.
7. Bleed the pump by turning the pump t-valve towards the BLEED direction.
8. Turn off the pump.
9. Ensure all valves are in neutral position or closed.
