1. Reagents

Purchase reagents as powders in individually sealed ampules.

• DOPC – 850375P
• DOPE-biotin – 870273P
• DOPE-mPEG2K – 880130P PDF
• Chloroform

2. Procedure

1. Make the following stocks from the products above by dissolving the powder in chloroform:
   • 100 mg/ml DOPC
   • 25 mg/ml DOPE-biotin
   • 100 mg/ml DOPE-mPEG2K
2. Combine the above stocks as follows:
   • 1 ml DOPC (97.7 mol%)
   • 20ul DOPE-biotin (0.3 mol%)
   • 80ul DOPE-mPEG2K (2 mol%)

3. Notes

• Master mix prepared as above will make enough for five batches of lipids. Use 220ul of master mix per batch of lipids.
• Make sure to use Hamilton syringe with teflon gasket to avoid dissolving rubber or plastics into the chloroform.
• All lipids should be stored at -20C
